The Promise

"The Promise"

In the dusk as twilight falls,
and fashioned with the stars.

Daybreak comes with rays of hope,
lighted by the sun.

He who spoke the sun and moon,
into sky's above.

Knows the heart of man below,
the sorrow, fears and love.

He who left us spirit true,
who leads us by his word.

Till the day we all shall see,
his face and loved ones too.
