Love vs. Rebuking

"Love verses Rebuking"

There is a time and place for everything, this includes rebuking.

But before you rebuke, make sure it is done in the right way. Done out of love for the person.

The Lord always tried to show love to all of His children, young and old. But yet there were times He needed to rebuke as well. Even though He spoke in authority, He spoke out of Love for those He was rebuking and wanted them to overcome the sin in their lives. Was He hard at times, yes, but He did Love them.

It would have been easy for one of us in the Lords shoes, to say to the woman caught in adultery, Hey!, you deserve to be stoned to death, after all you broke the law. But God (Jesus) saw through all the hype for those that accused her. Where was the man she was caught with? And how could they judge her, since there was sin even in their own lives.
