This is also a good opportunity to talk with them about their soul state and what they really need to hear about, Salvation.
Does this mean that when we go we immediately talk about salvation, no, Remember, you are suppose to be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit and the time may not be the moment you talk to them about salvation but of the Love of God.
One of the hardest things when visiting the sick is what prayer to offer with them. Once again, this comes to the leading of the Holy Spirit and your conversation with the one that is sick.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
