"Balloon Art"

This is probably one of the most enjoyable activity's in the Bus Ministry.

You've been to a child's birthday party before, I'm sure. You know the one's that have a clown show up. Nothing attracts children more to an event than a balloon. Even adults, like a balloon when done well.

It does take a little effort on your part to learn how to make balloon art, but the rewards are fantastic. I would suggest though, If you are wanting to do this, you invest in a balloon pump. A simple little device that will save you many headaches in blowing a balloon up.

Balloons can be purchased at any store or costume shop. You will want the balloons that are long ones, so you can make and twist animals. Special shaped balloons are needed to make the unusual designs but they do cost more.

I have listed some good web sites for you to learn how to make balloon art, start out small like a dog, then go on to some things much more complex, you will be surprised how the children will flock to you like glue and yes even a few adults.
